While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I discovered behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

From the moment I stepped inside , it was apparent that hygiene was not a priority at Masterson’s . The surfaces were tacky , and a foul smell of stale beer and neglected washrooms polluted the entire venue . Reeking of a mixture of excrement , decay and sickness . The serving zone , which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and litter that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The bathroom was in even a more revolting state — clogged , with a shattered handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was human excrement .
